BLAC (Black Leadership Alliance Coalition) is a leadership and workforce development organization advancing Black and historically underserved communities through identity development, practical leadership training, and career preparation.
Through workshops, leadership academies, mentorship, and professional networks, we help emerging leaders recognize their strengths, build workplace skills, and pursue education, employment, and leadership opportunities—strengthening their ability to earn, lead, and shape their futures.
WHY BLAC EXISTS
Conditions shape odds of success, we need leaders to change the conditions and shift the odds.
Systemic barriers and unequal access to education, employment, and resources shape people’s odds of success—and the stability of families and communities.
BLAC exists to develop leaders who change those conditions and expand what is possible for their communities.
Through identity development, practical leadership training, career preparation, and access to opportunity, we equip emerging leaders to pursue meaningful work, build economic stability, and lead community progress.
Our purpose is lasting advancement: leaders with the confidence, skills, and support to shape their futures, strengthen their families, and build a legacy of growth for the generations that follow.
