Letter From the CEO
Dear Revolutionary Partners,
BLAC—the Black Leadership Alliance Coalition—is more than a nonprofit. We are a movement rewriting what leadership, equity, and economic mobility look like in underserved communities. We believe true transformation begins not with placement, but with power—cultural power, identity, and self-worth.
At BLAC, we address what others ignore: the internalized barriers—racism, self-doubt, invisibility—that have quietly limited generations of talent. Through culturally grounded leadership development, professional coaching, and intentional placement, we don’t just prepare young Black and underrepresented leaders to succeed—we prepare them to lead, build, and reinvest.
We’ve already impacted over 500 young professionals, with 79% securing meaningful careers, launching businesses, or pursuing higher education—and over 90% reporting stronger confidence, purpose, and readiness to lead. But this is just the beginning.
With the right partnerships, we can scale a future where Black leadership is not the exception—it’s the expectation. This work is about more than employment—it’s about ownership, legacy, and systemic change.
We invite you to stand with us. Not just as allies—but as co-builders of a future where equity is the norm, not the goal.
In unity and forward motion,
TJ Harris
